We eschew the common practice of painting edges, instead opting for this painstaking traditional technique where the leather edge is meticulously thinned, folded over, and secured. This process yields a softer, more natural, and significantly more durable finish. It requires exceptional skill, particularly around the complex, continuously curving lines of our iconic ‘X’ element on the back of the bag. Achieving the crisp, refined look here demands millimetric precision in manual folding and is subject to stringent quality control – a testament to the skill of our manufacturing partners.
More than just a visual icon, the ‘X’ element on the back is specially padded. This enhances comfort considerably when attaché x is worn in backpack mode.
