OwnerLock® AnyTag: Activation in three seamless steps:

1. Activate Digitally

Simply tap the OwnerLock® AnyTag with your NFC-enabled smartphone. This will securely connect you to the platform where you register the tag to your personal OwnerLock® account. If you do not have an OwnerLock account yet, you will be able to create one for free during the registration process.

Hint: this process usually takes less than 2 minutes.

2. Document Your Asset

Complete the registration by taking a few clear photographs and providing key details of the item you wish to secure (such as your luggage or folio).

3. Secure Your Peace of Mind

• The OwnerLock® AnyTag and its integrated digital platform are designed solely to facilitate communication and aid in the potential identification and return of a lost item.
• We do not guarantee, warrant, or represent that an item tagged with an OwnerLock device will be recovered, nor do we assume any liability for its loss, damage, or theft.
• The Tag is Not a GPS or Tracking Device: The OwnerLock® AnyTag is a passive device utilising NFC technology to present a digital passport.
• It does not contain GPS, cellular, or other active tracking technology, and does not relay location data of the item or the user upon scanning. The recovery process relies entirely on a third party finding the item and actively engaging with the tag.
• Physical Limitations & Tampering: The physical tag may be deliberately removed, damaged, or discarded by a third party. The effectiveness of the OwnerLock platform is contingent upon the tag remaining physically intact and attached to the item.
• Removal of Tag/Loss of Access: We reserve the right to remotely disable access to the OwnerLock digital passport if we detect suspicious activity, misuse, or a breach of these terms.

II. Digital Service & Data Disclaimer Service Availability:

• Access to the OwnerLock digital passport (including ownership verification, product details, and contact options) is dependent on the functionality of the internet, cloud services, and the user’s/finder’s NFC-enabled device. While we strive for continuous service, we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability.
• Data Accuracy & User Responsibility: The OwnerLock platform is a tool for ownership management. The user is solely responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of all personal or product information uploaded and maintained on their digital passport. attaché x assumes no liability for losses resulting from outdated or inaccurate information.
• Owner Contact Privacy: When an item is marked as “Found,” the finder will be provided with a secure, anonymous means of contact (e.g., an intermediary messaging system or masked email address). The user’s private, stored contact details (address, phone number, secondary email) will never be disclosed to the finder without the express, voluntary consent of the registered owner.
• Data Protection & Jurisdiction: All data is handled in strict adherence to relevant data privacy laws, including the EU GDPR. The user consents to the storage and processing of their registration and product data for the purpose of the OwnerLock service, recovery efforts, and product support.
