At attaché x, innovation is at the heart of everything we do. Since the release of the Engineer’s Edition of attaché x in November of 2023, at Samsung KX, we’ve been hard at work refining and improving our product based on feedback and our commitment to excellence. We’re excited to share the changes and enhancements we’ve made to the attaché x for 2024, making it even more functional, stylish, and secure.

Here’s what you can expect from the 2024 edition of attaché x:

1. Enhanced security of the removable pouch

We’ve redesigned the back of the removable pouch to accommodate an optional safety lock. While the risk of accidental detachment or unauthorised removal was already low, we believe that an added layer of security is always beneficial. The new safety lock option limits the possibility of the pouch being removed without the owner’s knowledge, offering peace of mind without sacrificing usability.

2. Upgraded Leather and Interior Materials

For 2024, we’ve elevated the quality of the leather, making it both softer and more supple. This ensures that Attaché X is not only more comfortable to carry but also retains its signature, timeless look while being less rigid. Inside, we’ve upgraded the material to a more resilient polyfabric that feels luxurious to the touch.

In addition, we’ve included new internal loops designed to allow fastening of safety strings, which prevent the bag from opening wider than intended. For those who prefer not to use this feature, the strings are entirely optional and will be available as an add-on.

3. A Complete Redesign of the Folio

The folio has undergone the most dramatic transformation. It’s now more stylish and versatile, with the capacity to hold larger tablets and A4-sized documents. We’ve reinforced the pockets to maintain their shape even when loaded with heavier items like chargers and a laptop mouse. The asymmetrically rounded corner provides easier access to contents and separates the two sides efficiently.

To top it off, the new folio design features elegant two-tone design that now includes leather elements, giving it a sophisticated look whether it’s used alone or inside an attaché x.

4. Improved Strap Configuration for Ease of Use

Switching between carry modes is now simpler than ever. The straps feature position indicators, allowing you to easily refer to the manual and reconfigure your bag effortlessly. Whether you’re in briefcase or shoulder mode, the process is now smoother and more intuitive.

5. Optimised Ownerlock Tag and NFC Security

We’ve refined the embedding of the ownerlock tag to blend seamlessly with the bag’s interior design, ensuring it’s both functional and elegant. The security logic behind the NFC tags has been enhanced, allowing for updates in case of tampering or counterfeiting. Your attaché x is now more secure, and managing your NFC tags is easier than ever.
