On the 27th of March, 2025, at SAMSUNG KX, King’s Cross, London, we hosted an exciting event to officially launch the production version of the attaché x bag, the culmination of six years of development and refinement through over 25 prototypes. After a preliminary showcase a year and a half ago, we were thrilled to unveil the final product, now in stock and available for delivery across the UK.

The Genesis of attaché x

Our founder, Alek, shared the inspiration behind attaché x. Stemming from his experience as a consultant in London, he sought a bag that bridged the gap between the elegance required in a professional setting and the practicality needed for daily use. Existing options felt like a compromise: either stylish or functional, but rarely both. This gap in the market, combined with a newfound passion for leather crafting, led Alek on a six-year journey to create a bag that embodies “Intelligent Elegance” – the fusion of classic attaché case style with smart, modern design.

Merih, from the attaché x team, elaborated on the brand’s core principles. Florence introduced OwnerLock™, our innovative digital product passport. More than just a tag, OwnerLock™ utilizes an embedded NFC chip to provide:

• Transparency: Trace material origins and the product lifecycle.
• Information: Access guarantee, care instructions, and recycling information.
• Security: A digital ownership lock. Owners can remotely mark items as lost or stolen; scanning the tag will display a prominent “STOLEN” message, deterring resale. The embedded tag is tamper-resistant.
• Easy Transfer: Simple digital transfer of ownership.

OwnerLock™ is designed to be cross-brand and cross-product, aiming to secure more valued possessions in the future.

Fashion Showcase and Partnerships

The event culminated in a vibrant fashion show, demonstrating the attaché x’s versatility (up to 10 carry configurations) and showcasing its patented design. We also offered a glimpse into future prototypes.
